This is the third Artist Choice Maverick resin sculpted and painted by Kristin Berkery. He's a gold champagne (chestnut + champagne) overo, and I imagined him as a first generation ("Regular Class") Spotted Drafter, meaning one parent was a Paint Horse and the other was a Cream Draft. He could also be shown as a grade with Paint Horse breeding. Maybe this is his Cream Draft sire? 
He features added veining, amber-colored eyes, blond mane and tail with shading, lighter blond feathers (like his Cream Draft heritage), pink skin with mottling, the trademark champagne metallic sheen to his coat, overo "holes" in his blaze, mapping, and opaque natural white markings. He also has dark pink lining and "snot" inside his nostrils. Completed May 2005 and sold on Ebay. |
