Model Horse-Related Links
Breyer Animal Creations
The company that started the model horse hobby and still a time-honored favorite.

Peter Stone Company
Bringing new ideas to the model horse hobby, Peter Stone Company features some of the most innovative and detailed OF (Original Finish) paint jobs.

Model Horse Gallery
A good resource for finding pictures of a particular model, resin, artist's work, or coat color.

Cremello and Perlino Educational Association
If you're interested in the dilute coat colors (like palomino, buckskin, cremello, and others), this is a good site for explaining why and how they occur. Especially helpful if you're assigning parentage to your model horses featuring dilute colors -- a horse with the dilute gene must have a parent with at least one dilute gene. (And remember, purebred Arabians do not carry the dilute gene!)

Model Horse Reference
Still in development, this site will provide valuable information on every horse breed. This will enable artists to create increasingly authentic models and exhibitors to be more competitive in the show ring.

Model Horse Customizers
A mailing list where model horse customizers of all experience levels share information about repainting and remaking model horses.

Model Horse/Haynet Exchange
Up-to-date listings of models and resins for sale.

www.a-ha.com
The official site for the Norwegian band a-ha. I've been a devoted fan for over 18 years despite the fact that the group has not been promoted in the U.S. since 1986. Most Americans remember them by their number one hit, Take On Me. Seven albums later, a-ha is Warner Bros.'s most successful act internationally. The group's most recent album, Lifelines, has been a hit throughout Europe.

Organic Gardening
I believe in avoiding synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides when I garden. Not only does it help preserve the environment and build up healthy soil, organic gardening may prevent health complications that could result from exposure to harmful gardening chemicals. I also try to buy organic food products at the store to help support organic farmers.

Food Network
I love to cook and Food Network has been an endless source of new recipes and variations. My favorite shows on Food Network include Good Eats, 30 Minute Meals, Sarah's Secrets, and Emeril Live.

The Six Million Dollar Man and
The Bionic Woman

I know how campy both these shows were, but what kid-oriented TV shows weren't campy and unrealistic back in the 1970s? I grew up watching SMDM and BW and I love them. (Sure, some of the episodes I can live without.) Regardless of how they may be derided, the bionic shows have left their mark on our society. As recently as the last couple of years there have been nationwide commercials using the famous bionic sound, and where do you think the term "Fembots" came from in Austin Powers? Just wait for the Six Million Dollar Man motion picture... it's coming.
