Pandeiro - New Stablemate-scale Iberian stallion resin!
View photos of this sculpture. Pandeiro, pronounced "pahn-DAY-rruh" (roll the R), a Portuguese word meaning a type of tambourine that originated in Spain and is widely found in Brazil.

This 100% original sculpture by Kristin Berkery measures approximately 4 inches at his highest point and approximately 5-1/2 inches wide. He has a peg on each of his planted hooves to secure him to his base. If you don't like bases, you can easily cut off the pegs with a craft saw and affix a clear plastic peg to one of his lifted legs for support. The base has a dirt texture on top and can be customized by other artists to include flowers, grass, or whatever you can dream up!

1 Pandeiro is $55 + $4.05 shipping in the U.S.
2 Pandeiros is $110 + $6.00 shipping in the U.S.
Foreign shipping is higher; CA residents pay 7.75% sales tax

SCULPTURAL DETAILS: While I was creating this piece, I pictured this stallion under saddle in the bullfighting ring as he chases down the bull. To be a successful bullfighting horse, he must be fast, sure-footed, and brave.

He is just under 4 inches tall at his highest point and almost 5-1/2 inches wide. Each resin is cast in high-quality polyurethane by Mountain View Studios. Approximately 100 hours of work went into the original sculpture. He's very detailed with the following features:
  • Iberian type and conformation
  • Wrinkles in the armpits & on the neck
  • Whisker bumps & added veining on his belly, buttocks, and face
  • Detailed sculpted hoof bottoms
  • Accurate bone structure, muscling, and tendons
  • Stallion anatomy
BREEDS: Pandeiro is Iberian in type, so he can be shown as: The color and pattern possibilities are endless!

The white one is the actual resin; the base will be sanded smooth on the sides.

Scale comparison with Maverick
Pandeiro is still in the Stablemate-scale range, but his size makes him
easier to paint for those who prefer larger resins!

That means it cannot be cast by anyone else, nor can a modified Pandeiro be cast by anyone else. If modifications are done to the sculpture, they should be attributed to the customizing artist when the finished model is signed. Potential buyers should be notified that the modified sculpture was changed, how it was changed, and who changed it.
